Countryman Bypass Secateurs P096151

The Faithfull Countryman Bypass Secateurs are designed for cutting live wood and delivering clean, precise cuts with minimal bruising to plants. Featuring a high carbon steel SK5 blade that's precision ground and polished, these secateurs provide superior cutting performance enhanced by a non-stick coating for smooth operation through stems and branches. The robust polypropylene and fibreglass handles combine strength with user comfort through integrated soft-grip sections, making them ideal for extended pruning sessions in the garden or on horticultural projects. A practical two-position hand switch allows you to adjust the handle opening width, accommodating different hand sizes while also providing the clearance needed for cutting thicker stems up to 16mm in diameter. These bypass secateurs are particularly suited to pruning roses, shrubs, and ornamental plants where a clean cut promotes healthy regrowth. The bypass cutting action keeps the blade sharp and reduces plant damage compared to anvil-style alternatives, making them the preferred choice for professional gardeners and groundskeepers working with living vegetation.
