Eric Carle Hooded Blanket

This soft fleece hooded blanket features a Very Hungry Caterpillar character hood with 3D purple antennae and an embroidered face, including oval green eyes outlined in yellow and a small blue nose detail that replicates the caterpillar's appearance from the Eric Carle book series. The hood is constructed in red fleece to match the character's head, sitting above a bright green blanket body that represents the caterpillar's colouring. The edges are finished with a dark green piping trim that runs along the full border, reinforcing the design and adding durability to the outer seams. The hood sits on the head during wear and includes the character's distinctive antennae, which stand upright and are immediately recognisable to fans of the illustrated book. The blanket is large enough to wrap fully around a child's body, providing coverage from shoulders to floor on younger children. The structured hood keeps the blanket in place during wear rather than sliding off like a standard throw. This wrap is suited to indoor use including sofa lounging, TV time, reading, and settling down before bed. The character design makes it a practical choice for themed dress-up days, and it is particularly well suited to World Book Day given the strong association between the Very Hungry Caterpillar and early years reading. The bright green and red colour scheme is consistent with the original Eric Carle illustration style. The blanket is aimed at younger children and primary school-age kids who | Eric Carle Hooded Blanket | Green | Official Merch
