The Elta SSDL125-1EC-R is a 125mm Singleflow SSDL centrifugal box fan with rectangular inlet and outlet spigots and no terminal box. It moves up to 601 m³/h in free air, 493 m³/h at 200 Pa and still 302 m³/h at 500 Pa, the highest pressure in Elta's published table.A single phase EC external rotor motor (220-240V 50/60Hz) drives a backward curved impeller balanced to ISO1940-1, at up to 3555 rpm with an integrated commissioning control for setting speed. The 1.2mm galvanised steel casing is acoustically lined and suitable for external mounting, the IP44 motor has sealed for life bearings and runs in air from -20°C to +60°C, and Elta backs it with a 12 month warranty. 1 Phase EC Motor Up to 601 m³/h Speed Controllable What it is best used forExtract from washrooms, changing rooms, small kitchenettes and single offices on 125mm duct, especially in schools, hotels and offices where the fan needs to sit in a plant space, ceiling void or on a roof. At 100 Pa it moves 547 m³/h, roughly 10 air changes an hour in a room of about 55 m³.If the duct is short and the space is indoors, a simple inline fan may do the job for less money. It is not suitable for corrosive or explosive atmospheres, and the airstream must stay within -20°C to +60°C.Why choose this over alternativesThis is the 125mm SSDL with rectangular spigots. Pick this version when the fan connects to rectangular ductwork, so you avoid a fabricated circular to rectangular transition on each side. The fan, motor and performance are identical across the four versions, so the choice is only about duct shape and wiring. The same size is also available as Elta SSDL125-1EC (circular spigots), Elta SSDL125-1EC-T (circular spigots with terminal box) and Elta SSDL125-1EC-RT (rectangular spigots with terminal box).It sits in the middle of the three small casing sizes, all with the same 0.97 A motor and 15 kg weight. At 100 Pa it gives 547 m³/h, against 446 m³/h for the Elta SSDL100-1EC-R and 605 m³/h for the Elta SSDL150-1EC-R, so match it to your duct size rather than stepping up a size on the same spigot.Installation notes Mount it at any angle, indoors or outside, on drop rods or Elta's SEL anti-vibration mounts (upright or inverted), make sure it is adequately supported, and leave access for maintenance. The inlet and outlet are rectangular spigots for rectangular ductwork. Check the spigot sizes on Elta's dimensional drawing before fabricating the duct connections. There is no terminal box on this version; the supply cable enters from either side of the casing. Fit a local means of isolation as the wiring regulations require. Speed is set on the built-in commissioning potentiometer. To use an external potentiometer or a 0-10V BMS signal, remove the jumper link and connect to ST1; the commissioning setting then caps the maximum speed.
