The Elta SH200-1LC is a 200mm Hideaway SH low profile acoustic box fan, built for ducted extract or supply where the ceiling void is too shallow for a standard box fan. It moves up to 965 m³/h in free air, 864 m³/h at 100 Pa and 738 m³/h at 200 Pa, with Elta's published table running out at 350 Pa.A single phase EC motor (220-240V 50/60Hz) drives a jet design double mixed flow impeller at up to 3770 rpm, drawing 99 W at best efficiency (0.76 A peak). An integrated commissioning control sets a single speed or a maximum speed, and the fan also accepts a potentiometer, 0-10V or PWM signal. The 1.2mm galvanised steel casing has a Class O fire rated acoustic lining and a removable lid, the motor is IPX4 with sealed for life bearings, and Elta give a 12 month warranty. 1 Phase EC Motor Up to 965 m³/h Speed Controllable What it is best used forDucted extract or supply on 200mm duct for hotel corridors and bathroom groups, library and office areas and larger apartments where the ceiling void is tight. At 100 Pa it moves 864 m³/h, roughly 6 air changes an hour in a space of about 140 m³.Airflow drops off sharply towards 350 Pa, so for high resistance systems the deeper Singleflow SSDL box fan is the better choice. It is not suitable for corrosive or explosive atmospheres, and air must stay between -20°C and +60°C.Why choose this over alternativesThe Hideaway is the low profile option. Compared with the Elta SSDL200-1EC Singleflow box fan for the same 200mm duct, it gives 864 against 1026 m³/h at 100 Pa and 738 against 896 m³/h at 200 Pa, so choose the Hideaway when void depth is the constraint and the SSDL when you need more pressure.If you need more air, the Elta SH250-1LC moves 1476 m³/h at 100 Pa. On a smaller duct the Elta SH150-1LC gives 450 m³/h at 100 Pa. Its specific fan power is 0.36 W/(L/s) at 100 Pa, which helps with Part L compliance.Installation notes Mount it at any angle, adequately supported, and leave access to the removable lid for cleaning and maintenance. The circular spigots take 200mm duct directly; secure each joint with an Elta 018-200-CLAMP fast clamp, and check the airflow direction arrow before fixing. The fan comes with a 1m flying lead. Wire to Elta diagram 152-554 and fit a local means of isolation as the wiring regulations require. Speed is set on the built-in commissioning potentiometer. To use an external potentiometer or a 0-10V signal, remove the jumper link and connect to ST1; the commissioning setting then caps the maximum speed. Site the discharge so exhaust cannot be drawn back into a room through the open flue of a gas or fuel burning appliance, and inspect the fan at least every 12 months.
