SEL3V-I-MOXA 3 Speed Controller for MOXA MEV

The Elta SEL3V-I-MOXA is the three speed selector for the Elta MOXA MEV whole house extract unit. It lets the occupant or installer choose between three running speeds from a wall mounted knob instead of relying only on the unit's built in two speed setting.With the selector fitted, speed 1 and speed 2 are set on the MOXA's internal V1 and V2 trimmers and speed 3 is the unit's maximum (up to 383 m³/h at 0 Pa at full speed, 230 m³/h at 100 Pa). The MOXA's humidity sensor still boosts the fan when its threshold is reached. 3 speed selector For Elta MOXA MEV Wall mounted What it is best used forNew build and refurbished houses and flats fitted with a MOXA MEV unit, where the occupant needs a simple low, medium and high setting: for example a higher speed while cooking, showering or drying washing, then back to trickle.It only works with the MOXA MEV. It is not a speed controller for other fans, and for step-less control the MOXA can instead take a 0-10V signal or Elta's variable speed control knob.Why choose this over alternativesThe MOXA MEV ships wired for two speed operation with a remote switch or sensor. The SEL3V-I-MOXA adds a third speed position so the occupant gets low, medium and high from one control, while installers keep the commissioning settings on the unit's own trimmers. Pair it with the Elta MOXA MEV.Installation notes Wire the selector to the MOXA's S1, S2, S3 and GND control terminals as shown in the MOXA installation manual. Set the MOXA dip switches to 1000 for three speed operation with the SEL-3V selector. Set speed 1 and speed 2 on the internal V1 and V2 trimmers during commissioning; speed 3 is the unit's maximum. Isolate the mains supply before working on the unit. The MOXA is designed to run continuously, so the selector changes speed rather than being used as an off switch.
