SCD560 Cased Axial Fan Three Phase AC 560mm

The Elta SCD560/4-3AC is a 560mm Compact SCD cased axial fan with a short 250mm case, built for moving large volumes of air against low resistance. It moves up to 10393 m³/h at free air and 7160 m³/h against 150 Pa, from a 4 pole three phase AC motor running at 1445 rpm.The mild steel casing is powder coated in Telegrey 1 (RAL 7045) with the motor and adjustable pitch aerofoil impeller held within its length, and an IP55 terminal box is fitted as standard. The three phase TENV motor is IP55, multi voltage (star 400V as supplied, or delta 230V three phase) and suits the Eltadrive inverter range or a 149-TC310 transformer controller. It is rated for air from -20°C to +70°C at fixed speed (+50°C with a speed controller) and Elta give a 12 month warranty. 3 Phase AC Motor Up to 10393 m³/h Speed Controllable What it is best used forMoving a lot of air against low resistance on a three phase supply: warehousing, factories, sports halls and industrial units, mounted in a duct run or on a wall. It moves 10393 m³/h at free air on 0.73 kW, at 61 dB(A) at 3m.It reaches 150 Pa, but airflow falls to 7160 m³/h there, so it suits short to medium duct runs rather than long filtered systems.Why choose this over alternativesThe single phase Elta SCD560/4-1AC moves 11592 m³/h at the same size. Choose this three phase model where you have a three phase supply and want inverter control, as Elta rate the three phase motor for use with the Eltadrive range.Against the long cased Elta SLC560/4A-3AC (9403 m³/h, to 200 Pa), the SCD is a much shorter and lighter fan (250mm case, 23 kg) with a powder coated finish, and costs less. Choose the SLC for higher pressure, external mounting (it is hot dip galvanised and rated for outdoor use as standard) or heavier industrial duty. Need more air? Mounting feet and AV mounts are available from Elta. The flanges are 636mm outside diameter with 16 holes of 12mm on a 605mm PCD. Use Elta matching flanges and flexible connectors to join it to ductwork. Supplied star (Y) connected for 400V three phase, wiring diagram 152-611, via the fitted IP55 terminal box (21mm cable entry). The motor can be reconnected to delta for 230V three phase from an inverter. If you run it on a speed controller, keep the air temperature at or below +50°C (Elta's limit with a controller); at fixed speed it is rated to +70°C.
