SCD560 Cased Axial Fan Single Phase AC 560mm

The Elta SCD560/4-1AC is a 560mm Compact SCD cased axial fan with a short 250mm case, built for moving large volumes of air against low resistance. It moves up to 11592 m³/h at free air and 8514 m³/h against 100 Pa, from a 4 pole single phase AC motor running at 1310 rpm.The mild steel casing is powder coated in Telegrey 1 (RAL 7045) with the motor and adjustable pitch aerofoil impeller held within its length, and an IP55 terminal box is fitted as standard. The single phase TENV motor is Class F insulated with integral thermal overload protection and IP55 rated. Speed control is by a 149-TC18 transformer controller. It is rated for air from -20°C to +70°C at fixed speed (+50°C with a speed controller) and Elta give a 12 month warranty. 1 Phase AC Motor Up to 11592 m³/h Speed Controllable What it is best used forMoving a lot of air against low resistance on a single phase supply: warehousing, factories, sports halls and industrial units, mounted in a duct run or on a wall. It moves 11592 m³/h at free air on 0.882 kW, at 60 dB(A) at 3m.Its table stops at 100 Pa (8514 m³/h), so keep duct runs short and avoid filters or attenuators in the line; for more pressure, choose a long cased SLC.Why choose this over alternativesThe three phase Elta SCD560/4-3AC moves 10393 m³/h at free air at the same size. Choose this single phase model where three phase is not available.Against the long cased Elta SLC560/4A-1AC (10922 m³/h, to 200 Pa), the SCD is a much shorter and lighter fan (250mm case, 23 kg) with a powder coated finish, and costs less. Choose the SLC for higher pressure, external mounting (it is hot dip galvanised and rated for outdoor use as standard) or heavier industrial duty. Need more air? The Elta SCD630/4-1AC moves 17413 m³/h.Installation notes The fan is short (250mm) and light (23 kg), so it fits in a duct run or on a wall where space is tight. Mounting feet and AV mounts are available from Elta. The flanges are 636mm outside diameter with 16 holes of 12mm on a 605mm PCD. Use Elta matching flanges and flexible connectors to join it to ductwork. Wire to diagram 152-500 for 220-240V single phase via the fitted IP55 terminal box (21mm cable entry). The motor has integral thermal overload protection. If you run it on a speed controller, keep the air temperature at or below +50°C (Elta's limit with a controller); at fixed speed it is rated to +70°C.
