SCD350 Cased Axial Fan Single Phase AC 350mm

The Elta SCD350/4-1AC is a 350mm Compact SCD cased axial fan with a short 180mm case, built for moving large volumes of air against low resistance. It moves up to 2502 m³/h at free air and 2092 m³/h against 50 Pa, from a 4 pole single phase AC motor running at 1395 rpm.The mild steel casing is powder coated in Telegrey 1 (RAL 7045) with the motor and adjustable pitch aerofoil impeller held within its length, and an IP55 terminal box is fitted as standard. The single phase TENV motor is Class F insulated with integral thermal overload protection and IP55 rated. Speed control is by a 149-TC12 transformer controller. It is rated for air from -20°C to +70°C at fixed speed (+50°C with a speed controller) and Elta give a 12 month warranty. 1 Phase AC Motor Up to 2502 m³/h Speed Controllable What it is best used forMoving a lot of air against low resistance on a single phase supply: plant rooms, small kitchens, shops and stores, mounted in a duct run or on a wall. It moves 2502 m³/h at free air on 0.12 kW, at 52 dB(A) at 3m.Its table stops at 50 Pa (2092 m³/h), so it is only for very short duct runs or through the wall; for any real duct resistance choose a long cased SLC instead.Why choose this over alternativesThe three phase Elta SCD350/4-3AC moves 2239 m³/h at free air at the same size. Choose this single phase model where three phase is not available.Against the long cased Elta SLC355-1EC (2254 m³/h, to 150 Pa), the SCD is a much shorter and lighter fan (180mm case, 10 kg) with a powder coated finish, and costs less. Choose the SLC for higher pressure, external mounting (it is hot dip galvanised and rated for outdoor use as standard) or heavier industrial duty. Need more air? The Elta SCD400/4-1AC moves 2869 m³/h.Installation notes The fan is short (180mm) and light (10 kg), so it fits in a duct run or on a wall where space is tight. Mounting feet and AV mounts are available from Elta. The flanges are 421mm outside diameter with 8 holes of 10mm on a 395mm PCD. Use Elta matching flanges and flexible connectors to join it to ductwork. Wire to diagram 152-500 for 220-240V single phase via the fitted IP55 terminal box (21mm cable entry). The motor has integral thermal overload protection. If you run it on a speed controller, keep the air temperature at or below +50°C (Elta's limit with a controller); at fixed speed it is rated to +70°C.
