The Elta SANO IPIV WALL H is a wall mounted positive input ventilation unit for homes without a usable loft, such as flats and apartments. It supplies filtered fresh air to a central point, usually the hallway ceiling, to cure condensation and mould, with an integral multicore heater that tempers incoming air to a selectable 10°C to 20°C.The installer chooses one of six settings from 11 to 29 l/s (up to 104 m³/h), and ECO-LoFlo control trims airflow to the incoming air's temperature and moisture. A very large G2 filter keeps maintenance low, the unit can be configured left or right handed with a spigot or end panel grille outlet, and it carries a 5 year warranty. Its multi handed design suits tight hallway and cupboard positions on an external wall.Its maximum of 29 l/s is lower than a loft PIV, so it suits flats and smaller homes rather than large houses. Where a loft is available, a loft unit such as the SANO IPIV LOFT H supplies more air for less fan power.Why choose this over alternativesUnlike a loft PIV, the WALL H draws air straight from outside through the wall, so it works where there is no loft at all, and the heater stops the supply feeling cold. With the spigot outlet, duct to a ceiling diffuser in a central hallway; the published spigot figures are with an external grille, 5m of duct, two 90° bends and an internal grille.
