The Elta 149-EL31 is a 3 Amp single phase electronic speed controller for voltage controllable AC fan motors. It gives stepless speed adjustment, so the fan duty can be set precisely during commissioning rather than picked from fixed steps.It runs on a 220 to 240V 50Hz single phase supply, has an IP51 enclosure, a fitted motor protection fuse and minimum and maximum speed presets, and is suitable for operating temperatures up to 40°C. Fix the controller in a dry indoor position; the enclosure is IP51 and rated for operating temperatures up to 40°C. Wire to the terminal block (L, N, U1, U2, AUX, E) exactly as shown on Elta's wiring diagram, with the 240V supply in and the fan's variable live (brown) and neutral (blue) out. Two or three wire control is supported. Set the minimum and maximum speed presets during commissioning so the fan cannot be turned down to a speed where it stalls or under-ventilates.
