Clearflow CF450 Roof Fan Single Phase AC 450mm

The Elta Clearflow CF450/4-1AC is a 450mm vertical discharge centrifugal roof fan moving up to 7366 m³/h in free air, rated in the Elta datasheet to 500 Pa. It can be mounted at angles up to 30°, so it fits straight onto pitched roofs as well as flat roof upstands.A single phase AC external rotor motor with sealed for life bearings drives a backward curved impeller with 7 fluted composite blades, inside an all metal pre-galvanised steel casing. A bird guard and removable wind guard are fitted as standard, the motor is rated for air up to +60°C and Elta give a 12 month warranty. 1 Phase AC Motor Up to 7366 m³/h Speed Controllable What it is best used forLarger industrial extract, forges and foundries, bakeries and big catering operations. At 100 Pa it still moves about 6998 m³/h, and it is rated in the Elta table to 500 Pa.The standard Clearflow is rated for air up to +60°C with the motor in the airstream. For hot or grease laden extract straight off a cooking canopy, use the Elta Clearflow CFHT450 instead, which keeps the motor out of the airstream and handles up to +120°C.Why choose this over alternativesVertical discharge throws odours and contaminated air up and away from occupied areas and roof walkways, and because the fan sits on the roof it saves plant space inside. The backward curved impeller with 7 fluted composite blades is designed for high efficiency at the operating point with low noise, and the bird guard and wind guard come fitted as standard. This size is also available in three phase: the Elta CF450/4-3AC moves up to 7844 m³/h and is rated to 500 Pa. Pick whichever matches the supply on site. For grease laden or high temperature extract, the Elta Clearflow CFHT450 is the matching high temperature roof fan, with its motor out of the airstream.Installation notes The unit can be mounted at angles of up to 30°, so it can sit directly on a pitched roof without a levelling kerb. The spigot is on the underside of the fan and fits directly to the main duct. For speed control wire through the Elta 149-TC18 5 step transformer controller to Elta wiring diagram 152-104A, with a means of electrical isolation at the fan. The wind guard is easily removed for cleaning and maintenance, so leave safe roof access to the fan.
