410 WKG125 Window Kit External Fixed Grille 125mm

The Elta 410-WKG125 is a 125mm window kit with an external fixed grille for mounting the Elta LUXE 125 fans through a window pane. It gives a weatherproof installation and protects the fan from the outside. It suits single, double or triple glazing and is the kit Elta require when their fans are fitted in glazing, keeping the fan's warranty valid. It carries a 5 year parts only warranty. 125mm window kit External fixed grille Single, double or triple glazing What it is best used forWindow mounting the LUXE 125 in bathrooms, en-suites, toilets, kitchens and utility rooms where wall coring or ceiling ducting is impractical, for example in flats, rented homes, solid walled terraces and refurbishments. It needs a hole cut in the glass by a glazier, and a sealed unit usually has to be replaced or re-made with the hole in it, so it is not a quick swap. It only fits the Elta fans named; other brands need their own kit.Why choose this over alternativesIt is made for the LUXE 125, so the grille, sleeve and internal plate line up with the fan without adapting a generic kit, and Elta require their window kit when one of their fans is fitted in glazing, which keeps the fan's warranty valid.Other sizes: 410-WKG100 and 410-WKG150.Installation notes Have the glazier cut a correctly sized hole in the pane, or supply a sealed unit with the hole made, before fitting. Assemble the kit through the glass with the fixed grille outside and fix the fan to the internal plate, following the fan's installation instructions. Keep the external grille clear of obstructions so the fan can discharge freely. Electrical connection of the fan by a qualified electrician.
