"Red" Portait Art Print Phillip Butah

On the eve of his Collaborations album release, Ed Sheeran sits in his studio on a break from recording somewhat tired and withdrawn. Still uneasy with being in the spotlight let alone sitting for portraits, Ed is presented by the artist as shy and brooding. This portrait lays bare the stark contrast to the Ed we see today. With long days and nights in the recording studio we share in this personal moment between the artist and subject. Phillip beautifully captures the coming-of-age singer before his meteoric rise. Ed bares a reassuring and engaging glance in this brief moment of time. The vibrant colour in this portrait is a very deliberate contrast to the somber mood which has been blended beautifully by Phillip Butah.
