Expert Sledge Hammer FG4S/L

The Draper Expert Sledge Hammer is a professional-grade striking tool built for demanding demolition and heavy-duty construction work. Featuring a polished face solid forged head manufactured from fine grain high carbon steel, this sledge hammer delivers reliable performance for breaking concrete, driving stakes, and general demolition tasks. The head is correctly hardened and tempered to withstand repeated high-impact use, whilst a protective lacquer coating guards against rust and corrosion in challenging site conditions. This construction makes it ideal for outdoor work, groundwork projects, and applications where tools are exposed to moisture. The solid fibreglass core shaft provides excellent durability and shock resistance compared to traditional wooden handles. Fitted with a shock-absorbing PP/TPR grip, the handle reduces vibration transmission to the user's hands during extended use, minimising fatigue on longer jobs. The fibreglass construction also offers superior resistance to splitting or breaking under heavy workloads.
