A Class IIA laser pointer helps ensure accurate targeting when taking measurements. The integrated stud detection function locates timber studs up to 19mm deep behind wall surfaces, with an audio alert confirming when a stud is detected. This makes it particularly useful for safely fixing wall-mounted fittings, running cables, or installing fixtures where avoiding or locating studs is essential.
