A022 HSS TiN Coated Stub Drill Bit 16mm Pack 1

The Dormer A022 HSS Tin Tip Coated Straight Shank Stub Drill Bit is a high-performance drill engineered for efficient and accurate drilling in demanding applications. Designed with a stub length and straight shank, this drill bit provides exceptional rigidity, making it ideal for high-precision tasks and minimizing deflection during use. Crafted from high-speed steel (HSS) with a titanium nitride (TiN) tip coating, the drill bit ensures enhanced durability and heat resistance, delivering extended tool life even under intense conditions. Its 135° split-point design facilitates easy self-centering and reduces the need for pre-drilling, ensuring efficient performance in steel, cast iron, and other tough materials. Compliant with DIN/ANSI standards, the A022 series is optimized for 2.5xD drilling without the need for pecking.
