Most boucle ottoman beds start at double. The Sofna starts at single – which means a compact bedroom, a first flat, a spare room that works properly, or a teenager's room that earns its space can all have the same soft-texture white boucle finish that the larger sizes get. Boucle is a looped, curled textile — the French word literally means buckled. It earns its warmth through texture rather than weight, which is why a white boucle bed reads soft and inviting without making a small room feel heavier. The Sofna applies that fabric to a plain puffed headboard — no arch, no wing, no shaping — at 9cm deep with UKFR-certified 20mm foam, rising to 105cm in a clean, consistent white that holds its tone from headboard to footboard. Underneath, the full-depth gas lift ottoman storage opens on a smooth piston across the entire length of the single frame. For a single room, this is significant — the storage bay gives back the floor space that under-bed boxes and extra furniture would otherwise take.
