Scalloped Plush Velvet Ottoman Storage Bed Frame Double

Give your bedroom a statement headboard and a hidden home for spare bedding with this ottoman bed frame! If the spare duvet lives on top of the wardrobe and the suitcases fill the hall cupboard, this ottoman storage bed gives them somewhere to go without compromising on style. Pull the strap at the foot end, and two gas lifts raise the platform to reveal one uninterrupted storage space. Above it, a 144cm headboard of rounded velvet channels rises to a scalloped peak and folds into padded wings, while a matching 64cm footboard frames the mattress. Choose the double ottoman bed for a 135 × 190cm mattress or the king-size option for a 150 × 200cm mattress, available in light grey, grey, beige or blue plush velvet. Here’s why this ottoman bed frame brings both style and storage to your bedroom: Scalloped Art Deco Design: Rounded vertical channels rise to a shell-like scalloped peak on this ottoman storage bed frame, creating an Art Deco focal point in your bedroom. Tall Winged Headboard: This winged headboard ottoman bed stands 144cm tall in both sizes, with padded side wings and an 11cm-thick backrest to lean against when you read. Matching Scalloped Footboard: A 64cm footboard repeats the rounded channels at the end of this statement bed, framing the mattress for a coordinated finish. End-Lift Opening: Open this lift-up storage bed from the foot end using the nylon pull strap, so you can access the storage without moving bedside tables. Uninterrupted Storage: The under-bed storage compartment opens into one non-compartmentalised space for spare duvets, pillows and suitcases, complete with a protective fabric base. Gas-Lift Mechanism: Two gas lifts help raise the platform on this gas-lift ottoman bed. The mechanism may feel firm at first and become easier to operate after a few uses. Mattress Retaining Bar: A curved metal bar helps hold the mattress in place as the platform of this ottoman storage bed rises, preventing it from sliding when you open the storage. Sprung Slat Base: 24 curved, sprung wooden slats sit on an internal metal frame in this upholstered ottoman bed, providing a supportive, slightly flexible base for your mattress. Four Plush Velvet Colours: Choose this velvet ottoman bed in calm light grey, tailored grey, warm beige or blue, with soft plush velvet across the headboard, wings, footboard and sides. Double or King Size: Choose the double ottoman bed measuring W160 × L209 × H144cm for a 135 × 190cm (4ft 6in) mattress, or the king-size ottoman bed measuring W175 × L219 × H144cm for a 150 × 200cm (5ft) mattress. Mattress sold separately. 300kg Weight Capacity: Both the double and king-size beds support up to 150kg per side, with a total weight capacity of 300kg across the sprung slats and metal frame. Two-Person Assembly: This plush velvet ottoman bed arrives flat-packed in three cartons. Assembly requires at least two adults, with step-by-step instructions included. One-Year Warranty: This luxury storage bed comes with a one-year DHS warranty against manufacturing defects.
