Waterproof properties: The coated fabric has a 2000 mm waterproof rating. The taped seams and design of this jacket will keep you dry for 2 hours in a shower equivalent to 60 litres of water per square metre per hour. We measure a fabric's resistance to a water column, in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the tissue is. This waterproof, windproof and noiseless jacket protects you from the elements. Breathability: To find out if a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower the fabric's RET, the more water vapour generated by an active body escapes through the fabric, and the higher the breathability.
