Consequently, our ISO powder designed in Brittany is certified organic at every stage of its production by the cocert certification. As for the ingredients, we opted for beetroot sugar from Germany and from France because French farms have just finished their transition to organic (three years are needed) to guarantee availability. WHY TAKE THE ORGANIC ISO POWDER DURING PHYSICAL EXERCISE?: A so-called "isotonic" drink contains the same level of carbs, sodium and water as your blood. This isotonic feature is what facilitates the absorption of water by the body, hence its hydration. It is therefore easy to see why it is important for sports users exercising for less than 3h* to add an isotonic powder to their water bottle or flask What's more, it's organic! *For activities exceeding 3 h, the ISO+ is the more suitable product. WHEN AND HOW SHOULD YOU TAKE THE ORGANIC ISO POWDER?: The organic ISO powder is to be diluted in a bottle containing 500 ml of water. Drink one bottle per hour of exercise, i.e. one mouthful every 15 minutes approximately. However, hydration should be tailored to one's needs and the ambient temperature. What's more, in your bag, there is 480 g of organic ISO powder, i.e. 12 doses. ISO, ISO+, AND ORGANIC ISO: WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?: While the ISO and organic ISO are suitable for exercise lasting less than 3h, the ISO+, given its superior nutritional qualities, is suited to activities exceeding 3 h. Also, contrary to the ISO, the organic ISO cannot contain added vitamins or minerals. But no worries, we have found a way of dealing with this: we explain it all below. Finally, given that the ISO+ contains even more vitamins and minerals than the ISO, it would make no sense to develop an organic version. AND VITAMINS IN ALL THIS ...: To give our organic ISO powder antioxidant properties (in order to protect you from muscle fatigue), we initially wanted to add some vitamin C. However, given that this ingredient is considered to be an additive, and the use of additives is banned in organic products, we had to find an equally effective alternative. This is where acerola comes into play: given its high vitamin C content, it is the ideal product for fulfilling our requirements! WHAT ARE ALL THESE INGREDIENTS FOR?: Beetroot sugar for its carb content with a high level of sugar. Dextrose for the carb content with a high level of sugar. Maltodextrin for the carb content with a low level of sugar. Lemon extract for its great... lemony taste! Citric acid to counterbalance the sweet taste. Salt to make it isotonic and to compensate for the losses in minerals caused by the physical exercise. And finally, the acerola extract, our preferred natural source of vitamins C!
