It also requires very little care, as any dirt or mess that gets on it can be easily cleaned with little more than a damp cloth; though under no circumstances should a rough sponge be used, as it will scratch the splashback and ruin its amber colouring. Inherently hygienic, being so easy to clean makes acrylic even more so, allowing it to excel in busy kitchens that are used often for baking, preparing elaborate feasts, or even just day to day cooking.
