Agile Trail Geometry gives a confident stance on steep or twisty terrain, and with 150mm of fork travel and 140mm of rear travel, the bike has enough support for demanding all-mountain rides without feeling overbuilt for everyday trail use.Internal cable routing keeps the frame lines clean, while the fully integrated battery design protects the 800Wh PowerTube unit from the elements. An angle-adjustable headset lets you tune the handling to suit your local terrain or riding style, from more stable and planted to quicker steering. The UDH dropout makes the frame future-proof and compatible with modern drivetrain standards.Suspension comes from Fox’s top-tier Factory range, including the 36 Float Factory GRIPX fork and Float X Factory shock. Both use Kashima-coated surfaces for smooth action and offer adjustability to help you fine-tune support and rebound across changing conditions. A Fox Transfer Factory dropper post adds confidence when descending steeper features.Shimano XT Di2 electronic shifting provides accurate 12-speed gear changes with minimal effort, making it easy to respond to changing gradients. The XT drivetrain is paired with an ACID carbon crank, while the wide-range 10-51T cassette ensures there’s a suitable gear for both climbs and flowing descents. Shimano XT four-piston brakes with 203mm rotors deliver controlled power, and the front ABS system helps manage grip on loose or wet surfaces.The Newmen Beskar 30 wheelset brings a durable construction suited to e-MTB loads, with wide rims giving solid support to the 2.5in Schwalbe Albert tyres. These offer grip and cushioning across roots, rocks and softer trail surfaces.With a Bosch Performance Line CX motor delivering up to 120Nm of torque, the bike gives strong assistance when climbs turn steep or technical. The update is available for the latest generation motors with the codes BDU384Y and BDU386Y, and it can be installed straight from the Bosch eBike Flow app. Nice and easy.Once you’ve downloaded Performance Update 2.0, you can crank the motor up to a huge 120 Nm of torque, with up to 600% support and 750 watts of peak power. Bosch have also tweaked things so the motor can hold that power for longer when the riding conditions allow.The 600% support figure only kicks in between 0 and 15 km/h, so it’s all about helping you power up steep climbs and tricky sections. The maximum assisted speed stays the same at 25 km/h.As with previous Bosch updates, you can still customise the motor settings in the app to suit your riding style. Whether you want maximum power for steep tech climbs or a more natural feel on longer rides, you can dial it in how you like it.Performance Update 2.0 is available for all CX Gen 5 and CX-R Gen 5 motors. It also brings Extended Boost (Bosch Overrun) and support for the new drivetrain tensioner system, which helps reduce lag when you get back on the pedals.
