Digital Instrument Controller

CMPSR (composer) is a multi-sensory digital experience that has won the Tech4Good and Computer Music’s Innovation Award. It's designed to engage students who are traditionally difficult to reach and often excluded from music education, making it an excellent choice for schools seeking an inclusive digital curriculum. CMPSR transforms any device (e.g., iPads, Android Tablets) into a simple-to-use inclusive instrument. It functions similarly to a piano but is much simpler, using a velocity-sensitive joystick to play notes and chords. With its always-in-key feature and built-in chord and scale engines, users can connect to a suitable device and play the sound of any instrument. Arrownotes music notation, with its use of color, shape, and direction, makes reading and writing music fun and accessible, allowing non-specialist teachers to deliver inclusive, easy-to-follow music activities and lessons. Suitable for KS2 upwards, SEND, and PRU, CMPSR supports the Digital Skills STEM curriculum, the NPME2 access and modernization aims, and Ofsted Wellbeing Requirements.
