Bokisch Tempranillo Liberty Oaks Vineyard 2018

With a brilliant and lively purple hue, this Tempranillo unveils notes of green apple along with aromas of sizzling bacon, hints of dark cherry and earthiness. As it unfolds on your palate, juicy blackberries, a zesty twist of orange-infused chocolate, and delicate hints of hickory smoke evoke memories of relaxed summer evenings around a bonfire. Marcus and Liz Bokisch began making wine from their estate grown and organically farmed fruit in 2000. The Bokisch Vineyards label currently produces nine Spanish varieties including Garnacha Blanca, Verdejo, Garnacha and Monastrell. In 2012 they began experimenting with other unique small lot production by introducing the Tizona label which produces varieties such as Malbec, Petit Verdot, Old Vine Zin and specialty blends.
