Born in 1976 and named after Britain's double decker buses, the Cadbury Double Decker remains a masterclass in contrast. Under the milk chocolate sit two distinct storeys: a soft, chewy nougatine top deck and a crunchy cereal bottom - with, by its own admission, a hint of coffee in the mix. It's the bar for people who refuse to choose between chew and crunch, and nearly fifty years on, nobody has improved on the layout.
