EN 1143-1 Grade 4 Certified Security The Burton Amario Grade 4 has been independently attack tested and certified by ECB-S to EN 1143-1 Grade 4. Grade 4 represents an exceptionally high level of recognised burglary resistance and carries a recommended £60,000 cash rating or £600,000 valuables rating. This makes the Amario Grade 4 particularly well suited to protecting: High-value jewellery collections Luxury watches and watch collections Cash Precious metals High-value collectables Important personal possessions Confidential documents Other very high-value contents For customers whose insurance requirements exceed the limits of a Grade 3 safe, the Amario Grade 4 provides a significant increase in independently certified protection. £60,000 Cash / £600,000 Valuables Rating The recommended £600,000 valuables rating makes the Amario Grade 4 particularly attractive for protecting substantial collections of jewellery, luxury watches and other very high-value possessions. The range is also insurance approved by the Association of Insurance Surveyors (AiS) and built to the Police Preferred Specification – Secured by Design, providing additional reassurance when selecting a safe for high-value insured contents. Despite this formidable security rating, the Amario has been designed around relatively compact external dimensions, making serious Grade 4 protection practical within premium residential environments. Dual High-Security Locking Grade 4 security is complemented by a dual-locking system, providing an additional level of access control appropriate to the safe's exceptionally high security rating. The standard range is available with a choice of: Dual Electronic Locking Two independently operated high-security electronic locks provide convenient PIN-code access. Each electronic lock is powered by its own 9V battery and provides Master and User Code functionality, external battery access and a low-battery warning. The locks are independently tested and certified to EN 1300 and VdS Class B. Dual Key Locking For customers who prefer traditional physical key control, the Amario Grade 4 is also available with two high-security key locks. This provides straightforward mechanical access without reliance on batteries or electronic codes. The dual-locking arrangement means both locks must be operated before the safe can be opened, providing an additional layer of security and access control. Substantial Grade 4 Construction The Amario Grade 4 has been engineered around formidable physical protection. A substantial 50mm-thick safe door with a 55mm back-pan cover protects the locking mechanism. The door is secured by a three-way locking system with eight substantial 25mm diameter locking bolts, providing protection from multiple directions. A fixed dog bolt on the hinge side provides additional protection against attempted hinge attacks, helping ensure that the door remains securely protected even if the external hinges are targeted. A pre-drilled 10mm cable access hole in the upper rear corner also allows power or data cabling to be routed into the safe where required. Two Sizes to Suit Your Requirements The Burton Amario Grade 4 is available in two sizes: Size 1 – 27 Litres The compact Size 1 provides an impressive 27 litres of internal capacity while retaining full Grade 4 certified security. At approximately 180kg, it delivers formidable protection within external dimensions of just 500 × 450 × 350mm.
