Insulated General Service Shovel

The Bulldog Insulated General Service Shovel is a heavy-duty contractor's tool designed for safe excavation work around underground services. Manufactured to BS8020 standards, this insulated shovel provides essential protection when working near buried electrical cables, making it ideal for utility contractors, groundworkers and civil engineering professionals. Forged from a single piece of steel with an epoxy paint coating, this shovel delivers excellent resistance to corrosive substances encountered on construction sites. The round corner blade design minimises the risk of penetration damage to underground pipes and cables during excavation work. The integrated treads allow you to apply greater force whilst providing boot protection during demanding digging tasks. Fitted with a one-piece heavy-duty fibreglass YD handle for superior strength and electrical insulation properties. Each shovel is individually tested to 10,000 volts and guaranteed to 1,000 volts, supplied with a Certificate of Conformity for complete assurance when working in safety-critical environments.
