Kika Peated Single Malt Whisky Slovenian Whisky

70cl / 46% - Founded in 2016, Broken Bones is a Slovenian distillery that has already picked up a slew of awards for its spirits. Kika is a peated whisky that sees part of its maturation in casks from a notably peaty Islay distillery. Despite that the nose shows only gentle smoke, wrapped around ginger, almond and creamy vanilla. The palate is sweet, with both drier campfire and sweeter, briny smoke, alongside biscuit, milky coffee, some aromatic notes and pear, fading out in a long, smoky finish.
