Vintage Star Gazer Chair Mali 79.1

A vintage hand-carved Star Gazer chair from Mali, made from solid wood in a tradition of West African craftsmanship. The low-slung, gently reclining profile invites you to sit back, with the backrest angled for an unobstructed view of the sky — hence the name. Carved patterns in traditional motifs cover the surfaces, and the natural grain and patina carry the marks of age and use, each one telling its own story. A characterful statement piece that brings a touch of rustic African artistry to a room. Size: approx. 101cm L × 47cm W × 80cm H.
