GHO 20 82 Planer

The Bosch GHO 20-82 is a corded portable planer designed for smooth, controlled wood planing across a range of timber types, including very hard wood. Combining ergonomic design with a compact form and optimised centre of gravity, the GHO 20-82 reduces wrist strain during extended use, making it a practical choice for carpenters and joiners who require precision without fatigue. A precisely machined flat aluminium base and consistent depth control mechanism work together to deliver a smooth, flat surface finish. With a 700 W motor and a no-load speed of 16,500 rpm, the planer handles demanding material with ease. The planing width of 82 mm and adjustable planing depth of up to 2 mm make it well suited to door fitting, chamfering edges, and general timber preparation. The adjustable rebating depth of up to 9 mm adds further versatility for joinery applications. The tool is designed for both right- and left-handed use, with the option to eject wood chips from either side to minimise dust interference during operation. The included dust bag, parallel guide, and assembly wrench mean the tool is ready to use straight from the box.
