The GGS 18V-23 PLC is a cordless die grinder which is powered by a Bosch Professional 18v lithium ion battery. It is similar to the GGS 18V-23 LC but has a paddle switch rather than a side mounted slide switch. The energy efficient brushless motor provides equivalent power to a 1000 watt corded tool and means you get longer runtime from your batteries. At just 1.4kg, the tool can be used for long periods without tiring out your arms, and battery power means you can get into every corner of the work area without having to worry about overextended power leads getting in the way. The GGS 18V-23 PLC as a number of safety features to help prevent accidents in the workplace - The PROtection switch instantly cuts power once the trigger is released and sensors automatically shut down the tool if they detect it has been dropped or that kickback is about to occur. An intelligent Brake system ensures that rotation is brought to a rapid halt instead of gradually spinning down, and Restart protection means the switch cannot be left in the 'On' position in the event of a power failure (such as a drained battery).
