KA86 Belt Sander

The Black and Decker KA86 is a 720W belt sander designed for tackling large surface areas such as floors, floorboards, decking, and tables where significant material removal is required. A key design feature is the angled belt orientation, which allows you to sand twice as close to the edge of adjoining surfaces compared to a conventional layout — a genuine advantage when working against skirting boards, walls, or step risers. The 75mm belt runs at 206 metres per minute, giving the KA86 the pace needed for efficient stock removal across wide surface areas. Practical touches make it well suited to professional and serious DIY use alike. Automatic belt tracking keeps the sanding belt centred and running true, reducing downtime and uneven wear. The lever-action belt change mechanism speeds up accessory swaps, and the included dust extraction bag helps keep the working environment clean — particularly relevant when working indoors or in confined spaces.
