If you already own a Black & Decker 36v battery and charger it is available as a bare tool so you don't have to buy duplicates of them, or it is also available as a complete starter kit with a battery and charger included. Black & Decker's 36v platform is a popular choice for gardeners as the powerful lithium ion batteries are an ideal combination of performance and mobility, giving you all the cordless freedom of a petrol machine but without the hassle of buying, mixing and safely storing hazardous fuel, or having to maintain a petrol engine.
