70cl / 57.3% / Gordon & MacPhail - A cask-strength release from Gordon & MacPhail’s Connoisseurs Choice range, this is a 15-year-old Aultmore matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel. As you’d expect from as reliable a bottler as G&M, this is a delight. Lemon zest, apricot jam, melon and ginger on the nose lead to pineapple, vanilla, sweet violet and honeycomb on the palate, before a sweet, tropically-inflected finish.
