Description
70cl / 46% / Distillery Bottling - This limited-edition single malt from Ardbeg distillery – Drum – was released for Ardbeg Day, during Feis Ile 2019. Matured in ex-bourbon casks and rested in ex-rum casks, this is a funky, flamboyant whisky. The nose is full of ripe banana, pineapple, cocoa and woodsmoke aromas, with hints of fresh ginger, cinnamon and lavender developing slowly. The palate offers notes of black pepper, ginger, clove and liquorice, alongside dark chocolate, rich smoke and vanilla. An intensely smoky, fruity dram
