By using lightweight, nylon ripstop, a stitch-through baffle construction, and simplified features, weve managed to keep the overall jacket weight low for its warmth. This also makes the Fantom highly compressible for stuffing away in rucksacks. For climbing and mountaineering use, theres a helmet-compatible hood with a wired peak and a two-way front zip. The longer cut also helps prevent heat loss during long belays. The hood can be cinched down with side and rear adjusters so it seals out draughts while moving naturally with your head.
