K-Swiss

K-Swiss is a heritage footwear brand founded in 1966 in Los Angeles by Swiss brothers Art and Ernie Brunner. As avid skiers and tennis players who emigrated to the US, they took inspiration from leather ski boots to create a court shoe supporting the aggressive movement of tennis. The K-Swiss Classic, the first all-leather tennis shoe, debuted just in time for Wimbledon and quickly gained worldwide acclaim. Twenty years later came The Gstaad, their second style. Named 'Company of the Year' by Footwear News, K-Swiss opened UK and European distribution in 1991. A 2014 rebrand emphasised their heritage with a 1966 typeface and tennis court colour palette. Today, K-Swiss outfits the next generation with authentic court style.
