Archies Footwear is an Australian brand of arch-support flip flops and slides, designed by Daniel Jones, who worked as a private-practice physiotherapist in Melbourne. The company, Archies Footwear Pty Ltd, has its registered office in Echuca, Victoria. Its UK web store prices everything in pounds and dispatches from a warehouse in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.

Jones says he built the first prototypes in his grandparents' shed and spent five years testing designs with input from podiatrists and physiotherapists before launch, then sold early pairs at markets in Echuca and Moama. According to the brand, the foam footbed shapes itself to the wearer's foot over a few wears, and the one-piece build removes the separate toe plug that often breaks on ordinary flip flops.

Delivery and returns

UK standard delivery by Royal Mail Tracked 48 costs £3.99 and is free over £60. Express delivery by Royal Mail Tracked 24 costs £9.00, waived when an order reaches £135. Parcels are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours on weekdays, so Friday and weekend orders leave at the start of the next week. The UK store delivers to the UK and the Isle of Man, and every parcel gets a tracking number.

The 60-day Comfort Guarantee lets buyers send pairs back up to 60 days after delivery, even after wearing them. Exchanges and store-credit returns cost nothing in any condition, while cash refunds cover the product price minus the return postage, and original postage is not refunded on single-pair or express orders. Returns start on an online form that produces a printable label. A 6-month warranty covers manufacturing faults but not cuts, scrapes, dog bites or cat scratches.
