Funky Chunky Furniture is a British manufacturer of handmade chunky wood furniture, founded in 2013 and now operating from a 13,000 sq ft workshop in Jarrow, North East England. The company grew from humble beginnings when Managing Director Kevin started the business in a converted garage at his South Tyneside home. Today, the team of over 50 employees creates beautiful furniture designed to last – real wood furniture, made by real people, for real life. Winner of Manufacturer of the Year at the 2022 Made in the North East Awards, their solid wood furniture is crafted from top-quality, unsorted, kiln-dried pine with a signature rustic finish retaining natural timber characteristics.
