About Meg Rivers Bakers of Happiness

Meg Rivers Bakers of Happiness is a premier online bakery based in the heart of the Cotswolds. Since 1989, they have been dedicated to providing handmade cakes and baked goods, building an unparalleled reputation for quality and service. Meg sadly passed away from cancer in 2001, but her name lives on and the bakery continues to flourish. The Cotswold bakery premises continues as a family business with the help of three younger sisters whose lives were also touched by cancer when their mother Joy died whilst they were still children. Their mission is to continue the Meg Rivers name in memory of Meg and Joy's love of home baking, to spread happiness and raise money for cancer charities. All of their delicious recipes are based on Meg's own catalogue. Their cakes by post are perfect as thoughtful presents for loved ones - whether for birthdays, congratulations, or to help through stressful times. With their next day cake delivery service, customers can send sumptuous gifts anywhere in the UK quickly and easily, hand-baked by skilled craftspeople. Meg Rivers Bakers of Happiness is a Certified B Corporation, earning an overall score of 82.8 on the B Impact assessment - well above the median score of 50.9 for ordinary businesses. This certification reflects their commitment to social and environmental responsibility. The Hope & Joy collection has two principles at its heart: giving JOY through delicious cakes and carefully curated gifts, and providing HOPE by making donations to cancer charities with every gift purchase.
