About Oosc Clothing

OOSC (originally the Original Oldschool Ski Company) was founded in the 2014/15 skiing season by university friends Nick Marsden and Aaron McLaughlin. What started as a fun après-ski idea in 2007 turned into a bold movement on the slopes, with one clear mission: bring back the unapologetic style of the 80s and 90s to the Alps with loud prints, bold colours, and head-turning designs. The brand started by combining the founders' love of après and skiing into an old school product - the ski suit. In summer 2018, they rebranded from the Original Oldschool Ski Company to OOSC Clothing as they branched out beyond ski wear, launching their swimwear range to bring colour to beaches and pool parties. Sustainability is central to OOSC's approach. All products are sustainable, with the majority of clothing made from recycled polyester sourced from recycled plastic bottles, plus organic cotton in all soft goods. In 2022, they relaunched the Yeh Man range using material made from 100% hard-wearing nylon repurposed from fishing nets and other sea waste. OOSC Clothing has been honoured with the King's Award for Enterprise in recognition of exceptional achievements in international trade and sustainable development. The brand has secured a £1.4 million export finance package with HSBC UK through UK Export Finance, supporting expansion into the EU, US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand through major retailers including ASOS, Decathlon, Zalando, Macy's, and Hudson's Bay.

OOSC has proven that standing out on the slopes doesn't mean compromising on sustainability. Their bold, retro-inspired ski wear is made from recycled materials while delivering the kind of style that turns heads in lift queues and après bars alike. ## The Retro Revival OOSC brought back the unapologetic style of 80s and 90s skiing when everyone else was playing it safe in black and grey.
