London Sock Company was founded in 2013 by Ryan Palmer and Dave Pickard to help people "Walk Brighter" by adding a dash of colour and embracing their personality. The company was born out of a belief that exceptional socks can not only elevate your style but also transform your state of mind. Palmer and Pickard met at Accenture, an IT consultancy firm in London, and both came from entrepreneurial backgrounds. Ryan took out a loan of £25,000 in 2014 to launch the brand, initially selling socks from a stall in London's Leadenhall Market. The company has since grown from success to success, now shipping to over 100 countries worldwide. Model, entrepreneur, and style leader David Gandy was one of the brand's first investors, lending both credibility and visibility to the fledgling company. London Sock Company's unmistakable pops of colour have since been spotted on the likes of Daniel Craig, Ryan Reynolds, The Rock, Adam Driver, Rami Malek, and Paul Rudd. The company designs socks in London and crafts them in a family-run, certified carbon-free factory in Portugal, using only the best proven organic materials. Quality and sustainability go hand in hand - every pair is made with care for both the wearer and the planet. With every order, London Sock Company donates a pair of socks to charity as part of their Share a Pair initiative, having donated over 70,000 pairs to date to organisations supporting people in need. This commitment to giving back is woven into the fabric of the brand.
