Well Pharmacy is the UK's third largest pharmacy business, with approximately 700 stores across the UK and Northern Ireland. The company's origins trace back to 1945 when National Co-operative Chemists was established as part of the Co-operative Group.
The pharmacy business was acquired by the Bestway Group in October 2014 for £620 million. Following the acquisition, the business was rebranded as 'Well Pharmacy' in February 2015, with all branches transitioning from The Co-operative Pharmacy branding.
As part of Bestway Group, one of the UK's largest family-owned businesses, Well Pharmacy provides comprehensive pharmacy services including NHS prescriptions, health consultations, vaccinations, and a wide range of health, beauty, and wellness products.
