Absolute Collagen

Absolute Collagen is a UK collagen supplement brand founded in 2015 by Maxine Laceby and her eldest daughter Darcy, born from an art project when Maxine embarked on a Fine Art degree at 50. After experiencing the benefits of homemade bone broth rich in collagen, Maxine noticed glowing skin, stronger nails, and renewed wellbeing. Finding market supplements packed with fillers and low doses, they created premium hydrolysed marine collagen in daily sachets. By 2017, their ready-mixed sachets launched, and an army of devoted Absoluters helped reach £10m revenue in just three years. In December 2020, Livingbridge invested £15m valuing the company at almost £43m. Now a Certified B Corporation, daughters Darcy (Chief Brand Officer) and Margot work in the business.
