Dermatica is a personalised prescription-strength skincare service founded in 2018 by Dwayne D'Souza, formerly VP of algorithmic trading at J.P. Morgan. Believing that high-quality, dermatology-recommended, evidence-based skincare was out of reach for most people, D'Souza created a medical-first platform offering science-backed treatments for conditions like acne, rosacea, and melasma. Dermatica was the first of its kind in the UK, owned by London-based healthcare technology company HeliosX, which began in 2012 with online pharmacy MedExpress. Now operating across the UK, US, and select European markets, Dermatica provides personalised formulations developed by their team of dermatology experts and delivered direct to customers' doors.
