Laura Bond Jewellery is an Edinburgh-based brand launched in 2019 by Laura Bond and her husband Doug with just £5,000 investment. Frustrated by not finding beautiful, affordable dainty earrings for cartilage piercings – and falling out of love with cheap costume jewellery – Laura quit her job to create the brand she'd been wishing existed. Their flagship boutique and luxury piercing parlour on Thistle Street, Edinburgh, opened without outside investment, growing through retained profits. Celebrity fans include Florence Pugh, Michelle Visage (who wore Laura Bond to the 2022 Oscars), Nathalie Emmanuel, Lily Allen, and Drew Barrymore. Rising Stars 2021 winner at Professional Jeweller.
