About BlackStrap

BlackStrap is an American cold-weather gear brand from Oregon that makes balaclavas, face and neck coverings, base layers and fleece for skiing, snowboarding and other winter sport. Its story begins in 2006, when founder Abe Shehadeh was snowboarding on Mount Bachelor, and its shipping page says every order leaves the company's headquarters in Bend, Oregon.

Delivery and returns

UK shoppers see prices in pounds, and delivery is priced by carrier and parcel weight at checkout. A single light item was quoted £15 with DHL eCommerce Parcel Direct (an estimated 7 to 9 days), £20 with UPS Worldwide Expedited (3 to 5 days) and £34 with DHL Express Worldwide (checked October 2026). The shipping page puts standard international transit at 7 to 14 business days. Most orders leave Bend within two business days, and the same-day cut-off is 10am Pacific time on weekdays. Free shipping on orders above $75 is limited to US addresses.

Returns need attention before ordering from the UK. The returns page states that purchases shipped outside the US and its territories are final and cannot be sent back, so the free 30-day returns and exchanges covered there apply to American orders. EU buyers keep a separate 14-day right of withdrawal and pay the return label. Worn, washed or untagged items, closeouts and pro-purchase orders are excluded for every customer.
