About Pretty Mama

Pretty Mama was founded in 2018 by sisters Jenny and Alex McFadden after Alex, a fashion graduate, struggled to find feminine and comfortable breastfeeding clothing during pregnancy. Launched in 2020 just two weeks after the first UK lockdown, the brand features their design-registered diagonal zips for discreet nursing access. Appeared on Dragons' Den in 2022, receiving investment offers from 4 of 5 Dragons. Committed to slow fashion values, all items are made with a local Newcastle manufacturer.
