About bbhugme

bbhugme is a Norwegian maternity brand founded in 2013 by three chiropractors, Hilde, Ann Kristin and Elisabeth, who treated pregnant patients at a clinic in Norway. The company behind it, bbhugme AS (Norwegian organisation number 912 891 763), was incorporated in Oslo in November 2013, and its pillows are designed in Norway and manufactured in Germany.

What bbhugme sells

• The adjustable Pregnancy Pillow, sold as a kit of inner pillow, outer cover, two removable Pebbles and a travel bag, in shades such as Dusty Pink, Eucalyptus and Hazel Brown
• Nursing Pillows for feeding, in melange and neutral colours
• Bundles that pair the two pillows or add an extra cover
• Accessories including spare pillow covers and travel bags

Its filling is ultra-fine EPS microbeads; moving the Pebbles makes the pillow firmer or softer, and bbhugme says it can support the back, bump, hips, knees and ankles during pregnancy and after the birth. The inner pillow must be hand washed and always used with a cover.

Delivery and returns

UK orders ship free over £80 from a third-party warehouse in Warwickshire and travel with DPD, arriving in 2 to 5 business days. Below that threshold the warehouse sets the postage according to the items ordered. Orders are packed every weekday morning, so anything placed on a Friday or at the weekend leaves on the next working day.

Every product comes with a 30-day trial: an approved return gets a prepaid label by email, but the whole pillow kit, including both Pebbles and the travel bag, has to go back. Refund confirmation follows within 1 to 2 weeks of the return being processed. A one-year warranty covers defects in material and workmanship, though not normal flattening of the microbead filling or damage from machine washing.
