Deporvillage is a specialist online sports equipment retailer founded in 2010 by Xavier Pladellorens and Angel Corcuera. Based in Manresa, Catalonia, the company was driven by the founders' shared passion for sports and their vision to create a specialised e-commerce platform for cycling, running, and outdoor enthusiasts.

The platform stocks over 400 sports brands with products spanning cycling gear and components, running shoes and accessories, outdoor equipment for hiking, climbing, mountaineering, and skiing, plus gym equipment. Customers can find discounts of up to 40% off across the range.

After launching in Spain, Deporvillage expanded internationally with country-specific websites in Italy, France, Portugal, Germany, and the UK, bringing specialist sports equipment to customers across Europe with competitive pricing and expert product selection.

In 2021, a significant milestone came when JD Sports acquired 80% of Deporvillage through their Spanish holding company for €140.4 million. The company continues to operate under its own brand, benefiting from synergies and logistical support of its parent company while maintaining its specialist sports focus.
